IT & AI support, close to home
Friendly, dependable help with your technology.
Desktop support, Microsoft 365, home and business networking, and AI adoption — handled personally, with the kind of care and patience you'd want from someone looking after your own business.
What I do
Four ways to get your tech sorted
Book by the hour, the day, or as a fixed-price project — whichever suits the job.
Remote & On-site Support
Everyday tech gremlins — slow computers, printers, Wi-Fi, backups — sorted remotely or in person.
From £60/hr
Microsoft 365 Setup
Email, files and Office set up properly from day one, with your own domain and no loose ends.
£275 fixed, up to 5 users
Bespoke Network & Server Config
Networks, storage and servers configured to fit how you actually work — including secure remote access for home working, VPNs, and site-to-site or client-to-site connections.
Day rate: £500
AI Adoption Support
Hands-on sessions getting Claude, Copilot or Gemini genuinely useful in your daily work.
From £225 (half day)
On-site visits are charged in addition to time on site at 45p + VAT per mile, from office to destination and back — this is worked out and shown clearly on every quote where it applies.
Also available: web hosting setup, and simple website builds using AI tools (for straightforward sites — for anything design-led, I'll happily point you towards a design agency).
Where I work
On-site across five counties
Wincanton sits right at the crossing point of Devon, Somerset, Wiltshire, Dorset and Hampshire — so on-site visits across the region are quick to arrange. AI adoption and admin support can be delivered remotely anywhere in the UK.

About Sontech
Run by one person, so you always know who's coming.
Sontech Communications is run by Simon Kenning, who has spent 27 years working in technology and communications — from early self-employed technical work through to senior industry roles in the live entertainment professional equipment manufacturing sector. Simon managed sales, business development, market intelligence and technology adoption for global manufacturers. That's a long way of saying: whatever you're trying to do with your computers, network or new AI tools today, there's a good chance it's been seen before.
The approach is simple. Explain things properly, price fairly, and treat your business like it matters — because if you're a sole trader or a small business owner, your IT problems aren't an abstraction, they're your afternoon.
